Overview
As an IT Infrastructure Technician at RoviSys you will play a crucial role in supporting our IT infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of our enterprise systems. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and software.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with IT staff to implement security measures and protocols.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related problems.
- Assist in documenting network configurations and procedures.
- Assist in the planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- This is an in-person position requiring on-site attendance at our office in Aurora, OH
- Some travel required

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Basic understanding of enterprise storage concepts and technologies
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
- Any experience with the following is considered a plus:
- Veeam Backup and Replication
- SonicWALL
- Cisco Meraki
- Network Access Control systems
- VMware vSphere
- Azure Active Directory
- Office 365
- Dell Servers
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift 50 pounds
- The ability to move safely in confined spaces
- The ability to safely climb ladders
- Sitting and standing for extended periods of time
